Alessia Cara has been a Canadian musician since 1996. Her parents have Italian descent. Her parents gifted her with their first guitar when she was just 10 years old. It was the beginning of her journey with music. At the age of 13she began covering songs she liked on YouTube in order to show people that she was a talented artist and had the courage to make a profession of an artist. Actually she covered one of her song Sweater Weather is the track that got her noticed by EP Entertainment. They allowed her to compose as well as record herself tracks.
