Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. Biles was an U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the only one to win four gold medals at the same Games at the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first to hold three consecutive world championships. Biles was raised within Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan area. Her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles took home a medal for vaulting, and also a medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin participating in the elite level of gymnastics competition. Within two years she had been the best in this particular discipline. Biles was notable for her constant performance her enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of challenge she made in each event--vault, uneven bars, balance beam and ground exercise.
