Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist and TV sportscaster, in addition to documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun has been a Journalist, Sportscaster, Producer and actor since she was born in Santa Clara County California on the 19th of October. She earned her degree from the University of California with a degree in sociology and communications. Sun has a great surfing ability. After participating in several pro-am surfing contests, she was offered sponsorship by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and many other large companies. The attention she received from this acted like a slingshot to propel her into the entertainment business. Sun later went on to become an investigative sportscaster and film director. Sun was a news anchor for numerous channels. In 2003 Sun was a Fox Sports Net Correspondent. She hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. She's the first Asian American celebrity to have appeared as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has worked in numerous films and her abilities in acting are lauded and acknowledged. Sun has been in a variety of movies, such as Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). In 2014 Sun came out with Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch an feature-length documentary about plastic pollution in the oceans and its impact on the natural environment.
