thomas sadoski-2Sadoski began his stage work in theatre as an assistant to Mark Ruffalo (Mark Rosenthal) in an Off-Broadway production the Second Stage Theatre of Kenneth Lonergan's critically-acclaimed play This is Our Youth. It was the first of many productions with the New York-based theatre company. He has been in numerous Off-Broadway and Broadway productions, as well being in productions at regional theatres. He played the role of Greg in Neil LaBute's play Reasons to be Pretty at the MCC Theatre with his Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. Following a widely praised sold-out run Off-broadway, it transferred to Broadway in April 2009 , where it received three Tony Award nominations (Best Actor: Sadoski, Best Actress: Marin Ireland, Best Play) along with three Drama Desk Award nominations (Best Actor: Sadoski, Best Director: Terry Kinney and Best Play) Also, two Outer Critics Circle Award nominations (Best Actor: Sadoski, Best New Play),and three Drama League Award nominations (Best Play, Distinguished Performance Awards: Sadoski and Ireland). 6. Neil LaBute gives credit to Sadoski for his noted shift in the tone of being pretty that was inspired by the playwright's earlier work. "His self-awareness, good heart and help me to not rely on any thing I had previously done," he said. My plays conclude with a dark tone. He helped me recognize other shades in the palette. Sadoski has also been seen on Broadway alongside Ben Stiller, Edie Falco, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alison Pill in John Guare's House of Blue Leaves
